Have you made any new year goals and are looking for a yearly planner? Then you have found an option that could be the one for you.
The start of a new year always means new plans, ideas and goals. It is natural for us to get excited about a new year and all the possibilities that can happen.
It should be something that we think of in a positive way. How many opportunities can we experience?
Yes, we are all getting older as another year begins. However it also means we are gaining more experience in life. We are learning so many new things in our normal everyday life.
Having goals and dreams is important as it is something to focus on and inspire us to lead healthier and happier lives.
In order to even start to think about what it is we want to achieve we need some organisation in our lives. Yes, we need to remain adults and acknowledge all our responsibilities and commitments. There are of course so many things that we need to do and tasks to manage.
Once we get organised and on top of things we can focus on the goals that we have set in our lives.

A yearly planner to get organised
Is there a simple way to organise your life? The question is should it be easy?
Using a year planner like the one here is a great way to keep an overview of things to help you get started.
The great thing is you can use a different one for different areas in your life.

Annual house and yard maintenance
It doesn’t matter if you own or rent your home. Every home needs maintenance in some way.
Write in any tasks that have to be done in a certain month.
- Having your boiler serviced before Autumn and Winter.
- Cleaning the gutters for winter.
- Do you have chimneys that need sweeping or cleaning?
- Have a garden and you need to prepare it for winter or spring.
Use the planner also as a guide to help you keep an overview of the year for the following year.
If you realise that it takes longer to book a plumber for the service of your boiler then you know you need to book one earlier next year.
Financial yearly planner
How about one for your finances.
If you are using apps and online banking and think you have it all under control. Hey that is great if you are. Why not keep a check on how things are going.
- Check your account every month and go through your expenses or fees.
- Notice if there is more money going out or any increase in fees.
- Have the chance to query the increase or missing money immediately and stay on top of finances.
- Note any recurring bills e.g. rent and utilities.
- Mark down the month that you need to pay house insurance or property tax.
- Cars are expensive and essential for most of us. Keep track of when the insurance, tax and yearly service needs to happen and be prepared for the additional expenses.

Medical Planner
They can be so hard to manage as some appointments are in 6 months time or even longer.
- Keeping an overview of what is happening and when for other family members is the best way to stay calm and organised.
- Knowing when you or your family member has the appointment in advance means you can plan time off for it or prepare for it if there is a procedure to be done.
- Need to renew medication or plan a blood test and book a time for it.
- If you were told to contact an office in a few weeks or months then note it down so you don’t forget when it needs to happen.
Personal planner
Why not start a personal goal planner.
Starting off with anything new is the hardest part. Set yourself a goal for this month and make them easy ones. E.g. enjoy your first cup of hot tea or coffee in the morning.
Add any goals you have in mind that you want to achieve in the month that you select.
- Join the pilates class in April.
- Start walking at lunchtime.
- Meeting up with friends once a month at least.
- Setting aside a technology free day
Whatever you have to kick start your personal life, write it down.
Work goals planner
Are you running your own business and want to plan out a few things for the year.
- Print one out and label it your work goals.
- List any trade fairs or meetings that you have lined up.
- Updating your website or changing your product selection.
- Keep an overview of the important tasks and deadlines you may have with the year planner on one page.
If you are working in a company and set yourself some goals to upskill and work towards a promotion or even looking for a new job then break down the steps you want to take to achieve it.
